This body of work is truly and extension of my innermost thoughts and expressions. Its purity of purpose flowed from me as I reflected on my sister’s plight of breast cancer and societies reflection on it. After the first piece entitled “The Hurt Within” was completed, the style and free flowing process appealed to my conception of truth in artistic pursuits. I am looking to continue this style as the transparent medium of the encaustic wax reflects the transparency of thoughts and feelings.
