Jack Art Gallery
Originally from Kentucky, Jennifer has lived in Nashville, TN since 1998. Although the talent and desire for art was always present, the encouragement for it to be pursued as a career was not. After living in Nashville a while, she found herself surrounded by very creative and inspiring people who gave her the strength to venture into what she had always loved so much. Being a self-taught artist has given her the freedom to explore and experiment while absorbing inspiration from nature, the city streets, a rustic old warehouse, or even a quiet afternoon. While utilizing a variety of mediums she creates layers of rich earth tones consisting of mostly acrylic, coffee, glaze, and oil, with a foundation of molding paste for a textural effect.

The abstract style lends itself to your projections and symbols. In the sweeps, arcs, and shafts of layered color, you will see what you need to see - a figure, a forest fire, a desert canyon, perhaps the surface of a planet never seen before.
