ABOUT NINA GABELKO

Nina Gabelko, who taught elementary and secondary school for years, found that painting and doing crafts with her students was a most rewarding way to express her own love of art.

In her own painting, she combines acrylics with copper, brass, glass sands, and moulding compounds to offer her thoughts tactilely, as well as visually.

Nina lives in Berkeley with her husband and holds an Ed.D.
