ABOUT RON YORK

In 1990 Ron York opened Local Color Gallery as a source for his design clients. One year later he picked up a paint brush and never put it down. As a self-taught artist he works in acrylic on canvas or board in a colorful and whimsical style. Now that the gallery has been sold he is pursuing art full-time.

His work can be seen in galleries throughout the Southeast and at numerous local shows.

York’s paintings can be found in the corporate collections of Tom Collins Music, The Nashville City Club, First Baptist Church in Nashville, Belmont University and Pinnacle Bank, along with many private collections throughout the United States.
